The fires in southern California have gotten a lot of press, naturally, and bred a great deal of interesting digital media. From annotated Google mapes to custom-crafted Flash presentations, everyone had information that needed quick, visual and visceral presence. So here are some of the results or discussions of them. Please add some of your own!

The LA Times Google fire map: Perhaps the most well-known multimedia piece to come out of this; the interest lies mostly in that it costs nothing to produce, using tools that are already out there for everyone to use.
