Do other cities have media policies? Empty
PostSubject: Do other cities have media policies?   Do other cities have media policies? EmptyThu Mar 22, 2007 5:14 pm

Here in Hanford, we're dealing with a City Council that wants to institute a " media poicy" to, we think, decide what info gets into the paper. We've had a rocky relationship with the board after exposing several missteps in the hiring of its new city counsel. We feel this so-called media policy is a way to censor what we're given.
Do other papers have the same issue? How many cities have a media policy?
Thanks. flower
