Another sticky post! I'll start compiling a list of interesting multimedia projects on the net. Most will probably be from news sites, but keep an open mind! The gaming and food industries have amazed me and will no doubt score a few links here.

LA Wildfire Map: Simple but useful! A Google map marking with the LA wildfires this season.

Halo 3 minisite: Enter your birthday and explore the scene. I've get to get this verified, but the focus and detail level leads me to think they made a model and then flew a lipstick cam or other camera extension through the scene. A simple go the frame command and the playhead becomes linked to the arrow keys! This isn't a difficult project, but used to wonderful effect! Take a look.

Dangerous as it is beautiful: A Wisconsin State Journal project on Devil's Lake. Another easy one, simple in graphics and code, but effective.

Not Just a Number: An Oakland homicide rate project. Interesting construction, easily created graphics and I'm not sure about the creation of the maps. Overall, very informative, if a little visually busy.
